Milos Komnenic

Milos Komnenic is a founder and Managing Partner of Komnenic & Partners. His practice focuses primarily on foreign clients, corporate governance, tax, real estate energy, infrastructure, restructuring, privatisation, banking & finance, trade, regulatory and competition law. Milos also has significant experience in matters of white-collar crimes. Both in 2016 and 2017, he was individually ranked by Chambers and Global as one of the leading lawyers in Montenegro.

After high school finished in the United States of America, he returned to Podgorica and obtained law degrees from the University of Montenegro, Faculty of Law Podgorica. Before starting his practice, he spent 1 (one) year at Prelevic Law Firm and 9 (nine) years as a Senior Associate of Jovovic Mugosa Vukovic, one of the most reputable law firms in Montenegro, where he was leading corporate, M&A, Tax, energy and similar matters. During his career, he served clients such as the Government of Montenegro, Appollo, A2A, APS Holding, Addiko Bank, Erste Bank, NLB Bank, NLB Interfinanz, Nestle Group, Toyota, Heta Asset Resolution, Voli Trade.

He is one of the first local lawyers to assist his clients with a financing structure that was applied in Montenegro for the first time, such as cases of equity financing and specific project financing agreements.

He is a member of the Montenegrin Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

Alongside his professional engagements, he is an acting member of the Disciplinary Commission of the Basketball Club Buducnost in Podgorica. Until 2017, he was also a member of the Assembly of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee.
